You're not limited to just what's on the site. In fact, a lot of the devices on here started out as custom orders for people, then we realized the device could help more people.
For example, the mockup on the left was for a Redditor that didn't have a comfortable way to use WASD, but they were also missing a middle finger. I ended up building the box with an analog joystick, plus spacing for comfortable hand resting.
The pic below it was another custom order from someone with carpal tunnel and frustration with using a keypad to play with. We brainstormed some ideas, made a bunch of revisions, and ended up with the very functional, very retro-looking device you see.
And the third is the idea a Redditor with cerebral palsy came up with, a WASD controller that you press with your fist.
If you've had an idea kicking around for awhile, please reach out. I'm sure we can build something great together. And if it's something that doesn't seem viable, we can talk about that.
The last thing I'd ever want is to get someone something that causes pain, damage, or frustration.
Custom orders are affordable, too. Unless it's something wacky rare, you can expect to pay 2.75x the cost of materials, which will cover parts, labor, and shipping. So $20 worth of materials will run you about $55, including shipping.
