Caterpillar Controller

I don't know why I saw this little caterpillar at Walmart and immediately thought, "I should make that into a game controller," but I did.

Technically, I bought three of these. 

The first, I accidentally destroyed because I was using the wrong type of soldering iron (I've gotten way better since then, I swear). 

The second is the one pictured here playing some Smash Bros on Switch. My wife loved using it to play, and she was weirdly good with it. She played better with the caterpillar than she did a regular controller. 

The third, I gave to a friend in T-Mobile Magenta as a running joke about the weird stuff I build and the fact we both worked at T-Mobile. It was a weird T-Mobile Tuesday, for sure.
