The Aussie

In the world of one-handed controllers, options are limited. Sometimes they’re modified existing controllers. Other times they’re something entirely new and a bit alien, even their descriptions warning you that it’ll be a while before you can use it. That’s where this controller comes in. 

Designed to be intuitive, comfortable, and affordable, The Aussie is a wired controller that connects via USB-C to the Nintendo Switch and PCs. It’s fully compatible with Steam as well. The top-most sticks are your left and right stick, and the lower stick is your DPAD. 

The button layout may seem odd, but given the tons of playtesting that went into it, I can promise that it’s much easier to use than you’d think.

To activate the HOME button, you'd press ZL+ZR+B+A. If you hold them, it activates the sleep menu for the Switch.

One particularly cool thing is activated by holding X+Y+R+L for five seconds. This turns ZL and ZR into toggles so you don't have to try and hold them down and press other buttons. So for things like Breath of the Wild, you can target or shield block with just pressing them a single time!

Just pick whether you want your Aussie to be left-handed or right-handed, check out, and it will be on its way.

The standard device is not customized, but for another $10, I can add some text to the bottom of the controller (see pic below), and for $20, I can add an image, such as a logo or basic black and white image.
