Hey, everyone! I know it's been a good bit since I've posted any updates, but I've been working on some good stuff!
My newest one-handed controller, "The Greyhound" released recently, and it's been really nice to use. Not so much to put together, but that's a different story. The biggest headache is modifying the joysticks to mount vertically instead of horizontally. I've accidentally broken so many of them while trying to remove the pins. The great news is that I've found some suitable replacements that are nicer, already in the appropriate configuration for mounting, and are a slimmer profile, meaning the controller will be sleeker, and easier to ship. One complaint I've heard is that the old sticks "square off" too early, so the new ones should fix that issue too.
I've been working on a low-cost sip and puff switch lately as well. It will be chargeable via USB-C and shouldn't have any other wires than the 3.5mm cables that you'd already use with a sip and puff switch.
An unusual request I've received has been from gamers using a device called "Xim," which combines inputs so you can use a controller with a mouse. A guy told me that there's a huge demand for things like "The Great Pyrenees" for people that want analog movement inputs with mouse precision. It'll be interesting to see how that goes and what I hear from people in the future.
It's also been nice to hear back from people I've worked with in the past and had them try some of my new offerings.Â
